And from me! Bill and I celebrated our 48th in August. Thanks to Connie and Arthur for inspiration to make our young marriage last.

What a wonderful wedding anniv. display, and good one here too. Congrats to them!

Thank you very much Janet, Peggy and Aurora. Lucky for me, the Haiku Society of America annual conference is in Rochester, NY, tomorrow, where Art and Connie live, so I will be seeing them and meeting lots of haijin for the first time. Talk about inspiration.
Those who won't be in Rochester can help me celebrate by checking out "Just Fell Off the Haiga Truck" (September 14, 2007), a brochure that I put together of haiku and senryu that originated in haiga by myself, with my brother Arthur's photos (plus two by Mama G.). It's set up to be printed on 11.5" by 8" paper, on two sides, and has hyperlinks to the original haiga (including MagnaPoetsJF b&w versions). Mama G. was hoping to make braciole for Ms. Antonovic, but she'll have to make do telling her sons and grandchildren to "mangia."
