Thank you for spreading the word about the Calico Cat, Aurora!
I also changed the size of the image here, sorry for my ignorance :)
Looking forward to see you all in the contest! :)

Congrats!

Dear Janet, it is not a prize that I won -- it is my painting that makes a First prize in my Calico Cat bilingual haiku contest, which I hold twice a year in my LJ, with my original sumi-e as prizes (see the link under the painting). I placed this painting here so that you all could see it, find the contest, and submit your haiku :)
Kirsty Karkow was a First prize winner last year -- she won this painting: http://origa.livejournal.com/89072.html?nc=316
But I see that no one from this group submitted to the Calico Cat... Sorry about that. Maybe I didn't make it clear that anyone may participate? Hmm, don't know...

Origa, thanks for the explanation! After I had posted, I checked out the link, and then I understood. What a wonderful first place prize!

Thanks again, Janet :) Now it's already late to enter, but you might want to participate in the next contest -- some day in spring. It is always a blitz, so I always send an announcement at the very moment I place the post about the contest in my LJ. Every time more haijins participate, and the contest constantly grows. Also, the prizes attract people :) Take your chance next time! :)
