Nice catch. It's more like a snake to me though or is it snake who's after the twitching earthworm :)

When you can't find a new leaf, a dry one must do! Both the haiku and the photo are terrific--and I take them quite personally after a fine Christmas with four grandkids, spiked by the reappearance of Gideon, the lost corn snake, and the refrigerator presence of an earthwom named Katy the five-year-old rescued from fishermen.
