In keeping in line with the Magnapoets drinking theme, please note that the fisherman has a couple of bottles by his side. :)

i did notice that...and if any of you think that "fisherman" is me, you're wrong, wrong, wrong. ;)

Come to think of it, Janet, that fisherman kind of looks a little like Yu, don't you think?

Perfect!! I really love the words.

Very nice! Maybe spring will come with a snowfall for a change. You'll need the bottles then :)

Remember the blizzard of April `38. Well, you wouldn't remember it, but take my word for it.

Very nice.

Thanks, all. Janet and I collaborated on this in 2006 after her part of the world had a particularly warm winter. In my neck of the woods this year, we've had a wild winter, exactly the way I like them. :)

Wonderful!

glad you all enjoyed this piece.

fyi, ms. aurora did most of the work; i only provided the words.

Actually, Janet, while in haiga words and image should be balalnced on equal planes, if one is to take preeminence over the other, it's the words. Your poem is fantastic! Thanks for allowing me to illustrate it.

I love this.

thanks from us, claire - glad you enjoyed it!
